No, pets are prohibited in the entire area, including the rental accommodations.

The rental accommodations are regrettably not very suitable for those who use a wheelchair, due to the many sandy areas. A number of houses have a veranda or step, while the Beach Houses have a staircase of five steps to the front door.

You can book a rental accommodation for a week, a mid-week or a weekend. These have fixed start and end dates. In case of cancellations during the low season there may be other possibilities by special arrangement. We'll inform you of the costs of the stay, cleaning fees etc. when the offer is made.

It is not permitted to place a tent next to the accommodation, but we do offer 'Tent Pitches'. These are less than 100 metres from the rental accommodations. They need to be booked separately.

On the day of arrival and departure you can take the car to the rental accommodation to load or unload. In the period between you may park the car in the car park. The nearest car park is P3. This way we keep the area safe and suitable for children to play freely.

All our rental accommodation includes duvets and pillows. (Bed) linen packs are included for the specified number of occupants.

You do need to bring your own kitchen towels and personal towels. However, it is possible to rent these too. A towel pack consisting of a large towel and a hand towel is € 4.00. Rental of a kitchen linen pack with a kitchen towel and a tea towel also costs € 4.00.

Camping Bakkum has a separate area for rental accommodation. This area is edged by dune to increase privacy. The Panorama Tents are near the camping pitches.

You'll receive a bed linen pack for the number of people you have booked for. Should you need extra packs, for example when someone visits and stays over, just notify Reception. We'll make sure you'll receive more.

You'll receive one key per accommodation. Should you need to, you can leave this key at Reception during opening times, so others in your party can pick it up while you're out.

It is not possible to put extra beds or airbeds in the rental units.

Inside the rental accommodation smoking is not permitted. You can smoke outside (on the veranda).

You can rent a child's cot or high chair for children up to 2 from Reception. This costs € 10 per item per booking period. Please tell us beforehand if you need these, so that we can make sure you find it on arrival.

All Beach Houses have a parasol. The other houses either have a covered veranda and/or awning. The Panorama Tents have a shade tarp.

There are picnic tables by the Beach Houses, Panorama Tents, Dune View and Dune Rose have picnic tables.

Yes, our rental accommodation has running water. The Beach Houses, Dune Rose and Dune View have both hot and cold running water. The Panorama Tents have cold running water. 

In the Panorama Tent you'll find a Senseo coffee maker, a kettle, kitchen area with 4 ceramic cooking rings and a fridge (without freezer compartment). The Beach House contains an LCD TV, DVD player, dishwasher, Senseo or other coffee maker, a kettle, a kitchen area with 4 cooking rings and a fridge with freezer compartment. Bakkums Hoeve has several dishwashers, a coffee maker and Senseo, kettles, a kitchen island with 5 cooking rings and fridges with freezer compartments. Dune View and Dune Rose have a coffee maker, a kettle, a fridge, a kitchen area with 4 rings and a television.

We require the accommodation to be tidy when you leave. Our host will check the accommodation after you leave, or together with you. Our cleaning team then provides thorough cleaning of the accommodation.

The Beach Houses, Dune Rose and Dune View have their own toilet and shower. When staying in a Panorama Tent you may use washrooms 'Vuurtoren' or 'Schelp', a maximum distance of 250 metres away.
