Singers such as Billie Holiday and Aretha Franklin are a great inspiration to Karin, but also artists who are active now. Performers who feel the music, who live and breathe it, whether they are from the past or the present.
The latest show, which will be in theatres during the 2023/2024 season, features many songs that all mean something special to Karin. She'll explain why with her own delectable sense of humour, her inimitable stage presence and fantastic voice.
She'll bring her own band, consisting of four great musicians, including her husband Marnix Busstra. We know Marnix from the many great songs he has written for Karin, but also for other performers. His father was a musician so Marnix grew up learning to play many instruments, and he developed a great love of jazz and the electric guitar.
