When you stay in an accommodation at Camping Bakkum, you can use the sauna for free. You will find the sauna in the first chalet on your left. It is indicated on the map with an S. You can use the sauna facilities between 09:30 and 22:00. You do not need to make a reservation for this. There are lockers available. You can open the door with the green/black tag on your key ring. The sauna is freely accessible to all guests (18+) who are staying in one of our accommodations.

Sauna facilities: three types
Infrared sauna
An infrared sauna is a sauna that works with infrared radiation instead of heat from a stove. This radiation heats the body directly.
Finnish sauna
A Finnish sauna is heated with a stove. The dry heat in combination with low humidity ensures relaxation and health benefits.
Steam bath
A steam bath is a warm room of 40 to 60 degrees with a high humidity of about 98%, for cleansing the skin and other health benefits.
Hygiene and safety
- You can enter the sauna with or without swimwear.
- It is advisable to wear slippers for your safety and hygiene.
- When changing and entering the saunas, it is hygienic to shower first.
- In the saunas, we kindly request that you sit on your towel.
You can leave personal and valuable belongings and any clothing in one of the lockers. Entering the sauna at Camping Bakkum is at your own risk. If you have medical complaints, we request that you first consult a doctor or obtain information from one of our employees.
