Nice to see you here via the QR code! Discover useful information about everything in and around your accommodation, tips on what to do and explanations about the gym and sauna.
On arrival and departure days, hosts are available at the accommodations to welcome and assist you. If you don’t see them, they may be with other guests.
For urgent questions, please call or message the reception, or visit the office at the entrance of the property.
General information
Check-in & check-out
- Check-in is from 3:00 PM. On the day of departure, you may stay in the accommodation until 10:00 AM.
Wi-Fi
- Select the network: 'Bakkum Accommodaties', the password is 'Bakkum1914'.
Coffee
- A Nespresso or Dolce Gusto machine is provided by default. Would you prefer a Senseo or filter coffee? If available, we’ll bring that to you!
Children's bed/chair
- Reserve for free at the reception. Let us know in advance, and we’ll arrange the sunbeds or chairs for you!
Parking
- After unloading, please park your car in the parking area behind the barrier. This keeps the area car-free for the children. On your departure day, you can drive back to the accommodation to load up.
Final cleaning
- We kindly ask you to leave the accommodation neat and clean. Please wash the used dishes and cutlery, return the furniture to its original place, and place the used linens in a pillowcase next to the front door. Thank you!
Oven
- There is a combination microwave available in the accommodation. If you’d like an oven, you can request one from our hosts.
Sauna
- As a guest of an accommodation you can use the sauna facilities in the first building on your left for free! The sauna is open every day from 09:30 to 22:00. You open the door with the tag on your Bakkum key ring.
Gym
- Hit the gym during your stay! This is free for guests of Bakkum. Reserve a time slot via the reception.

Additional info Beach cabin
- Shower: If the temperature fluctuates, press the button on the side of the mixing tap and turn the faucet fully open.
- Heater: Each room has a well-adjusted electric heater. Adjust the temperature using the +/- buttons. For assistance, please message or call the reception.
- Microwave: Press the power button to start the microwave function. Use the left dial to choose between oven and microwave. Set the cooking time with the right dial and adjust the power with the power/weight button. Confirm with the same button or wait until the display stops blinking. Start the cooking process with the start/pause button. At the end, a signal of 5 tones will sound; the fan will continue to run briefly and will turn off automatically.
Dune View
- Dishwasher: First, press the on/off button. Use the ^ button to select one of the programs. The ECO program is recommended.
- Extractor hood: You can pull down the extractor hood, and on the right side, you’ll find the different settings.
- Induction cooktop: This only works with a pot on it. Turn on the cooktop by pressing the on/off button for 3 seconds. Adjust the temperature using the +/- buttons. If an 'H' appears, the cooktop is still hot.

Dune Rose

Tiny Timber
- Dishwasher: Use the on/off button. The button to select the setting is located directly next to it. The door/flap can then be closed.
- Underfloor heating/thermostat: When you enter, there is a thermostat to operate the underfloor heating directly to the right of the wall. Simply turn the degrees up or down and you will experience a pleasant heating experience.
- Pull-out bed: In the ‘drawer’, under the elevation, there are two single beds of 200x80. When you pull out the ‘drawer’ completely, you will find the made bed. Fold up the table before pulling out the bed.
- Indoor dining table: You can lower the table by sliding the black flip at the top of the table top. You can fold out the pole of the table by pressing the button under the pole at the table top. The pole will then click out.
- Induction hob: The hob only works if there is a pan on it. Turn on the hob by pressing the on/off button for 3 seconds. Set the temperature with the +/- buttons. If you see the letter H, it means that the plate is still hot.
- TV: Only press the red on/off button on the remote control. The TV hangs on a bracket and can be partly turned in connection with sunlight and reflection.
- Veranda: The bench is water-repellent and in 1 part. The parts are separate from each other and can be moved.
- The dining table and 4 chairs are also movable. The chairs are for both indoors and outdoors. (This is to save space)
- Step: Opposite the kitchen in a recess near the cupboard, there is a block with a wooden handle on it. This is the step for the elevation on which the bench stands.
- To save space, this block can be placed in front of it or not. When you want to use the bed and pull out the drawer, it is useful to put the block back in the cupboard.
- Fire extinguisher: This is located in the leftmost (high) stair cupboard
Dune Tent Deluxe
Practical information
- The kitchen unit is mobile and can be used both indoors and outdoors.
- Make sure you open the zippers properly, release the push buttons and that the electrical cable has sufficient slack.
- Is the kitchen unit inside? Then pay close attention to the ventilation. Keep the zippers open and ensure sufficient distance from the tent canvas while cooking.
- The induction hob only works if there is a pan on it. Without a pan, the hob will not switch on.
Sanicube
- You can open the door with the black/green drop on the key ring. Hold the 'tag' in front of the lock for a moment, and the door will automatically unlock.
- Inside you will find the shower and toilet. The extractor and lighting switch on automatically.
