This is Easter!
Eeki takes the morning disco seriously from this Easter weekend. And rightly so! Together with his friends he dances on a brand-new stage on the renovated front square by the sports and games hall. Kids love it and in the meanwhile you can quietly enjoy a good cup of coffee. Before you know it, you’re just joining in! On Saturday 4 April there will be the grand opening of our new Minigolf on the Meeting Square. With a big red button, golden golf clubs and a meet & greet with Eeki.
And we are hunting Easter eggs, but this is for the real explorers!
Celebrate spring 100%
We tackle Spring Break with gusto! We build a course for exciting gel blaster tournaments, organise agent and spy training on our new obstacle course (12+), and you might suddenly spot dinosaurs on the Meeting Square, where you can also find yourself in a silent disco party. We have already chosen the theme for you: “Ai, Ai, Captain!”
The LAB is going bigger: its own mega Mad Science day on July 7th
Kids will become real professors! They'll discover, test, build, and experiment at four super cool fun stations. And real professors will appear at De Pan with magical shows. Mad Science Day kicks off a whole new laboratory season at Bakkum. This summer, you can register for professor classes in our own lab building. Here you'll learn all about experiments, tests, and of course, how to make the coolest inventions yourself. In short: grab your lab coat, put on your glasses, and discover how much fun science can be!
All Season: The Most Athletic Outdoor Champions!
You ask, we deliver! We bring more competition, tournaments and sports into the programme! Rest assured: our super-cool games such as Sandwich Building, Surfboard tactics, Mission Impossible, challenges on Flip-Flops and Fireflies vs Hunters will still be there. But this year you can also expect glow-in-the-dark football tournaments, Battles on the Beach and Survival of the Most Sporty!
14 to 16 July
This used to be what Bakkum was known for! And this summer we bring it back… Experience three days of Olympic Games during the summer holidays! Join the opening parade, collect sports stamps on all three days and walk proudly with your key-cord through the Olympic village. Also come to the “Holland Bakkum Bites House” for music, atmosphere and medal ceremonies. On the last evening everybody who participated receives an award!
Bouncy Castle Paradise
Parents, take note: you really have to mark this day with a big red circle in your agenda, because this day is the highest-scoring activity among the Bakkum kids.
Events at De Pan
Last summer, they shared the stage with Shirma Rouse. Now, the Nick Bult Band is performing with an artist who shines with hits by Robbie Williams and George Michael. We'll keep you posted! Curious about everything happening at De Pan? We'll be announcing more events on this page!
Live music at Bakkum Bites
Last year, Balcony Players, Sea Roots Collective, and Pierre et les Optimistes, among others, were among our standout performers. This year, we're taking things even further. With the new stage on the square, you can enjoy surprising bands and exciting formations all season long. So find a spot and enjoy the sun, great music, and the best cocktails!
Eeki World Tour!
This summer, Eeki will take you on a journey of discovery! From Paris to Tokyo and from New York to Rio de Janeiro. These are the shows in De Pan you simply must see if you're an Eeki fan. And every time, you'll learn something new! Something you can tell your parents, uncles, sisters, and friends about.
Fall Break = Camping Herres!
We're building on our success of last year and organizing a new edition during the fall break. Expect plenty of climbing, scavenger hunts, craft workshops, pumpkin carving, and birdwatching. And during the fall break week in the Northern region, the recreation team will make sure Camping Herres is fully stocked!
